♜ Get to know Unyssons ♜
The name Unyssons (/juːnɪsʌnz/) was inspired by Telemachus, the son of Ulysses, entrusted to Mentor, his caretaker and advisor. Merged with “university”, it also echoes the French verb “unissons” (/y.ni.sɔ̃/), evoking unity and togetherness.

With a background in environmental engineering, I defended my PhD thesis in December 2025 on circular economy and life cycle analysis, applied to phosphate waste valorisation and construction materials. I have carried out my undergraduate and graduate studies in Moroccan universities, with multiple international academic experiences, particularly in Europe, North America and South-East Asia.
Throughout my PhD, I was often solicited by younger students for guidance regarding academic matters. During my final year, as I was navigating alone the unknown seas of manuscript writing, I came to realise how important it is for students to have a map or a compass à portée de mains. I decided to address this problem first thing after my defence by opening Unyssons. That being said, I do not represent any institution, nor do I speak as an authority – I only speak from my own experience and observations.
Whenever you feel like it, write to me on this page. You may write in English, French, or Arabic (including Darija), and I will reply in the same language.
